Partial DenturesPartial dentures are a removable option. They are designed to allow you to take them in and out of your mouth. Dentures are an economical way to restore your missing teeth, particularly if multiple teeth are involved. It is attached to your natural teeth with metal clasps to help anchor them while you speak, eat, and go on with your everyday tasks. In the evening, dentures need to be taken out to be cleaned and soaked. Several visits are needed to fabricate a partial denture. The first is to take an impression or mold of your teeth so we can design the metal framework of your denture. Once we fabricate this framework, we bring you back in to adjust its fit and verify that your bite is comfortable and correct. Now we can process the denture with the correct metal framework and set the artificial teeth in place, which can take 2-3 weeks. The final stage is delivering and adjusting any minor areas for your comfort. Particularly with dentures, several follow-up appointments are usually necessary to adjust the bite and relieve sore spots. |
