Inhalation SedationInhalation Sedation uses a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen to put you in a relaxed and comfortable state. During the procedure, you will wear a small, comfortable mask over your nose. You simply breathe in and out naturally through your nose during the treatment and let the gas have its relaxing effect on you. The effects wear off quickly once the gas is stopped, so you will be back to normal when you take the mask off at the end of the procedure.
